He was predeceased by: his parents, Alida Hoenderdaal (Houkes) and Gerrit Van't Hoenderdaal; his brother Jan; and his grandson Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Maureen; and his children, Sandra Jardine (John), Jennifer Hatala (Brian), Karen Matejka (Ian), Stephen Pitt, Kevin Pitt (Lisa) and Adrianna Borle (Clayton). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
