Frieda Rausch Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frieda Rausch (Ponoka, Alberta), who passed away on May 11, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottilie Pohl and Emil Pohl; her husband Otto; her sons, Gerald and Wayne; and her siblings, Herbert, Arthur, Reinhardt, Norbert and Elsie.

She is survived by: her children, Merle, Karen Baldwin (Laurie), Beverly Schimpf (Bryon) and Gail Newton; her grandchildren, Greg Rausch (Brandi), Jeff Rausch (Jackie), Gillene Butler, Aleesha Duarte (Alex), Nicole Rausch, Clinton Schimpf, Melissa Schimpf (Mike), Diana Baldwin (Mike) and Logan Newton; her sisters, Hilda Buss (Herb), Margaret Losinski and Mary Fleischmann (Ross); and her children-in-law, Kevin Newton, Trudy Rausch and Betty Rausch. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

In Frieda's memory, donations are gratefully accepted to the Golden Leisure Lodge (Rimoka Housing Foundation) in Ponoka, Alberta.
