He was predeceased by: his sons, Gary Martin and John Miles; his parents, Fred Hagemann and Hilda Hagemann; and his siblings, Bernard (June), Norman (Shirley) and Evelyn Cash (Arnold).

He is survived by: his sister Joyce Kittle (Bob) of Quesnel; his sister-in-law Helen Hagemann; his wife Joyce; his daughter Laura Bluck (Ken); his grandson Cameron Lawrence Bluck (Stephanie); his great grandchild Hadley Joyce; his son Ross Kendall Hagemann (Jenefer); and his grandchildren, Elsie Jen and Jodje.
