He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his siblings, Lorna Engstrom and Ken Stamp; and his daughters-in-law, Donna Stamp and Vicki Stamp.

He is survived by: his children, Norman (Sharon), Diana (Mark), Gordon (Jozefina), Denise (Brian), Darlene (Larry) and Douglas; his grandsons, Brendan (Julie), Quenton (Karah), Cameron (Carmen) and Nathan; and his friends, Margo and Elmer Kusiek. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
