He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Boehlke and Rudolph Boehlke. He is survived by: his daughter Carey Klassen; his grandchildren, Mhairi and Johnathon; his daughter Kristin Harrison; his granddaughter Shea; his sister Elaine; and his nieces and nephews, Jason, Jordon, Jessica and Jennifer (Hazel).

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Ponoka Funeral Home (5115 50 Ave, Ponoka, AB T4J1R5). A reception will be held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the St. Mary's Anglican Church (5120 49 Ave, Ponoka, AB T4J1R5).
