He was predeceased by: his sister Lisa; and his parents, Fred and Joan. He is survived by: his significant other Jean; his children, Daryl Auvigne (Marisa) of Calgary and Cheryl Snyder (Steve) of Ponoka; his grandchildren, Kole, Daniel, Nicolas and Tori; and his siblings, Carol Fuller (Wayne) of Didsbury, Earl Auvigne (Fran) of Arrowwood and Ken Auvigne of Red Deer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
