He is survived by: his children, Ginger Morin (Robert), Cherry Morin, Ashley Morin (Joel) and Derek Jr.; his grandchildren, Preston, Myia, Stacie, Desmond, Noah Kaufman, Karmin, Riley, Memphis-Ray Morin Shaw, Thomas and Kellyanna; his mother Mae Moore; and his sisters, Georgie and Marilyn.
