He was predeceased by: his parents, Madeline Lightning and Arnold Moses Lightning; his son Deimetrius Finley; his grandson Micheal Bradley Lightning; and his siblings, Roderick Lapatak, Jeanie, Esther, Taylor Patenaude, Carol Finley and Alice Lightning.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Threefingers; his sons, Kyle (Jade), Leland (Kelsey) and Aaron; his stepchildren, Cheryl, Aimee (Johnathan), Calvin, Kelly (Aaron), Chuck and Joseph (Samantha); his grandchildren, Keenan, Amelia, Delilah and Eric; and his siblings, Louis Lapatak (Lena), Marguerite Brown, Christina Lightning-Hurd, Steven (Lise) and Margaret Finlay. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
