She was predeceased by: her parents, Christine Skode (Morrison) and Walter Hoar; and her siblings, Morris Hoar and Audrey Grier (Hoar). She is survived by: her husband Bill Matejka; her children, Dawn, Anne (David), Lori, John and Mark (Kathy); and her grandchildren, Hannah, Charis, Sarah, Zayen, Shanti (Kenji), Casandra Anderson (Brodie), Ashley Van Gyssel (Justin), Brittney, Carling and Tyson.
