He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Adams and Wilfred "Bip" Adams. He is survived by: his wife Judy Adams; his daughters, Gloria Adams, Roxanne Peterson, Kim Emblau and Anita Emblau (Gary MacLean); his grandchildren, Devin Peterson, Owen Emblau (Jacob Holloway), Garet MacLean and Eric MacLean; and his siblings-in-law, Dale Lillemo (Rhonda), Doreen Siemens (Jerry) and Linda Hauck. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Barry's name may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation (Cross Cancer Institute) or the Alberta Diabetes Foundation.
