He was predeceased by: his wife Katherina Remyn (Kay); his parents, Nicolaas Remyn and Cornelia Remyn; and his siblings, Bastiaan Remyn (Tillie), Joannes Remyn, Jacob Remyn, Marinus Remyn, Petrus Remyn, Corneilia Remyn, Jobina Gielliet (Raymon) and Maria Buysse.
He is survived by: his siblings, Willem Remyn (Erna), Nicolaas Remyn and Nelly van der Keere (Robert); his siblings-in-law, Remy Buysse, Maria Remyn, Henriette Remyn and Ria Remyn; and his nieces and nephews, Netherlands and Belgium.
