He was predeceased by: his wife Irma; his parents-in-law, Frieda Bragg (Norris), Ludy and Alf Ahrens; and his niece Marie Dickinson (David).
He is survived by: his children, Peter Lawrence (Shelley) of Pine Lake, AB, Catherine Mitchell of Pincher Creek, AB and Margo Sevcik (David) of Strathmore, AB.; his grandchildren, Shayne (Emily), Matthew Lawrence (Cyla), Sam (Karlene), Jack, Ben, Eddie Mitchell, Susanne, Luke, Jake and Marika Sevcik; his siblings, Mary Duborg, Art Lawrence, Ed Lawrence (Pat) and Elizabeth Dunbar; and his sisters-in-law, Valerie and Lois Ahrens.
