He was predeceased by: his parents, Ksenia Hlady and Alec Hlady; his daughter Hayley Robinson; and his siblings, Edward, Victor, Peter, James, Olga Bokshowan and Elsie Craig.

He is survived by: his wife Josephine Gabrielson; his daughters, Teresa Hlady Pincher Creek (Curtis Brackenbury), Lesia Atkinson (Leigh) and Colorado; his son-in-law Stewart Montana-Siksika Nation; his siblings, Bohdan Hlady, Mary Heisler of Vegreville, AB and Bernice Diamond; his sister-in-law Alice Hlady (Saskatoon); his grandchildren, Stephanie MacDonald (John), Sarah Hankel (Lane), Scott Schlachter (Samantha), Jorgia Montana-Wildman (Colten Wildman), Ben, Josephine Atkinson, Meredith, Jake Van Roessel, Bella and Joel Moller; and his great grandchild Layla Hayley Wildman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
