He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Bensler and Annie Bensler; his sister Elfrieda Bensler (Rudy); his foster son Edwin; and his grandchildren, Dylan, Elizabeth, Joshua and Michelle.
He is survived by: his siblings, Elsie Thiessen (Rudy), David Bensler (Maggie), Peter Bensler (Melinda), Ernst Bensler (Suzanne), Dan Bensler (Hildegard), Art Bensler (Marylene) and Sharon Hatlelid (Len); his wife Linda; his sons, Evan (Heather), Jeremy (Pam), Timothy (Deanna), Jonathan (Melisa) and Stephen (Tanya); his foster son Joseph; and his grandchildren, Nathan, Noah, Olive, Kaylin, Alyssa, Ethan, Raquel, Eric, James, Grace, Luke, Lauren, Rebekah, Holden, Raymond, Justin, Daniel, Rebba, Bryer and Dwayne.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chinook Bible Church (1255 Bev McLachlin Dr, Pincher Creek, AB T0K1W0).
