He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Chicken and Maggie Prairie Chicken; his aunt Lizzie; his uncle Jim Morning Bull; and his siblings, Clyde Prairie Chicken (Maude), John Prairie Chicken, Albert Prairie Chicken (Rosaline), Stuart Prairie Chicken, Evelyn-Gladys Prairie Chicken and Helen Little Mustache (Leonard).
He is survived by: his children, Eric Red Gun, Sterling Starlight, Dylan Starlight, Crystal Low Horn, Holly Ann and Dawn Marie; his sister Lynn; and his friend Irene (Kathy). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces in addition to extended families and friends.
