He was predeceased by: his wife Ivy; his daughter Valerie Demeter; his parents, Matyas Demeter and Kathleen Demeter; his sister Kathleen Kostyal; his brother-in-law Mike Kostyal; and his nephew Kenneth Fisher.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tracy of Edmonton and Shelley of Lloydminster; and his nieces and nephews, Patricia Bayer (Bev), Colleen Fisher, Kathy Fisher, Donna Fisher, Larry Kostyal, Parry Olesen (Viault), Gregory J. Fisher and Robert Fisher Jr..
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home (703 - 13 Street North, Lethbridge, AB T1H2T2).
