She was predeceased by: her father Ted. She is survived by: her husband Tak of Picture Butte; her children, Stephen Hirose of Lethbridge, Kimiko Oliver (Michael) of Lethbridge and Naomi Graff (Nick) of Strathmore; her daughter-in-law Gwen Hirose of Coaldale; her grandchildren, Kelsey, Liam, Caitlyn Oliver, Jaxon, Benjamin Hirose, Luke, Norah and Roman Graff; her siblings, John (Agnes), Tom (Patsy) of Brooks, Brian (Terri), Linda Dube (Kelly) of Brooks and Annette (Brooks); and her mother Anne.
