It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Vanden Brink of Picture Butte, Alberta, who passed away on September 15, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Brink and Dirkje Vanden Brink; his stepmother Elberta; his brothers, Teus, Wouter, Woutje and Otto; and his parents-in-law, Wim Grisnich, Kees, Alie Barendregt, Henk, Grie Vander Veen, Joe Van Zweden, Cobie Grisnich, Jo Vossebelt, Ray Grisnich, John Grisnich, Theo Leeuwenburgh, Gijs Grisnich, Cor Grisnich and Gerrit Grisnich.
He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Della, Stephan (Anne), Roy (Woutera), Gerda Bos (Pete), John (Nancy), David (Carolin), Annette Maayen (Henk), Leona and Louise Aleman (Brent); his cousin Joe; his former wife Anna Grisnich; his stepbrother Willem (Alie); and his sisters-in-law, Co Vanden Brink, Marrie Van Zweden, Grada Leeuwenburgh, Alice Grisnich, Ank Grisnich, Tine Grisnich and Gerie Grisnich. He is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren and forty-nine great-grandchildren.
