He was predeceased by: his parents, Pieter Velthuis and Aaltje Velthuis; and his parents-in-law, Roel, Jannetje Hayes, Brother Jan Velthuis (Corrie) and Sister Pieterke Borchart (Joop).
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Pieter (Ana), Bethany, Carson, Ralph Velthuis, Alice Velthuis, Bert Velthuis, Janet (Ed), Ymker, Edward, Jacob, Sara, Annie, Ryan, Micah, LoriAnne, Elisabeth Velthuis, Hanna Velthuis and David (Alisha); and his wife Elisabeth Maria Velthuis (Bep). He is also survived by his brother and his spouse and 3 sisters and their spouses, numerous in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
