With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shawn Viens in Peace River, Alberta, who passed away on June 24, 2023 at the age of 26. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Elizabeth. He is survived by: his mother Stephanie Jones Viens; his brother Liam MacLennan; his stepfather Jason MacLennan of Grande Prairie; his father Daniel Viens (Edmonton); his grandparents, Thomas Jones of Edmonton, Margaret, Stan Polciennik of Leduc, Marcel, Val Viens of Falher and Evelyn Viens of Grande Prairie; and his aunts and uncles, Colleen, Kelvin Dollmont of Edmonton, Karen, Ryan Dalgetty of Grande Prairie and Susanne Jones of Peace River.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Second Chance Animal Rescue in Shawn's memory.
