He was predeceased by: his mother Josephine Doonanco; his stepparents, Thomas Matthews and Mabel Matthews; his sister Beatrice Hastings; and his brother-in-law Dwayne Eiriksson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Matthews (Vince Gorham) and Tracy Lauritsen (Kelly); his grandsons, Jayden, Tyrees, Kole and Kase; and his siblings, Geri Eiriksson, Bert Doonanco, Bob Doonanco (Kelly) and Dwight Doonanco.
