He is survived by: his children, Gilbert (Kim), Diane (Lenord), Maurice, Helene, Claude and Marilyne. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandsons.

A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church (10405 99 St, Peace River, AB T8S1M4).

He was recognized for his contributions to the beekeeping industry with a 40-year Billy Bee award and a 45-year award from BeeMaid Cooperative for honey shipment.
