She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Bowtell and Freda Bowtell. She is survived by: her husband Alex Bentt; her children, Kim Bentt (Angela) and Holly Handfield (Alan); her grandchildren, Jaiden Handfield (Kara), Jilian Kienapple (Matt), Shelby Bentt and Kolby Bentt; her great grandchild Asher Handfield; and her sister Janice Penman. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Royal Canadian Legion #253 (5011 49 Ave, Grimshaw, AB T0H1W0).
