He was predeceased by: his parents, Judson Canning and Blanche Canning; his stepfather Harry Beebe; his brothers, Gordon and Howard; his sisters-in-law, Doris (Gordon), Janice (Howard) and Irene (Harold); his former wife Peggy; his wife Anne; his daughter Colleen (Sarka); and his grandsons, Christopher Raven and Brody Hrynyk.
He is survived by: his siblings, Harold Canning and Margie Sorensen (Jim); and his daughters, Cathy Routhier (Claude), Susan Bongo (Juan Carlis), Margaret Barnowski (Carey) and Janet Canning. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.
