He is survived by: his parents, Beatrice Ives and Herbert Ives; his children, Carlos (Lynn) of Alberta Beach, Shawna Carpenter of Edmonton and Jeff (Nona) of Peace River; and his siblings, Francis, Harold, Inez Holt, Irene Ives, Mary Ann Gwaltney, John and Eric. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
