He is survived by: his wife Patricia Doonanco; his children, Laurie Plouffe (Jacques) of Edmonton, AB, Jaclyn Cameron (Scott) of Bonnyville, AB and Jonathan Doonanco of Bonnyville, AB; his grandchildren, Harlee, Cali, Summer, Annika and Everett; his siblings, Marina Chrapko of Edmonton, AB, Frances Kozak (Victor) of Edmonton, AB, Johnnie Doonanco (Mary) of Glendon, AB and Glenn Doonanco (Louise) of Fort McMurray, AB; and his sisters-in-law, Elaine Doonanco of Glendon, AB and Marilyne Kissel (Barry) of Canmore, AB..

Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private funeral service will be held.
