He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaston Carignan and Odette Carignan; his daughter Kirsten; his parents-in-law, Kenneth and Vivian Kendall; his sister Madeleine; his brother-in-law Warren Kendall; and his niece Anne-Renée Henry.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his daughter Shannon (Hubert); his grandchildren, Dragahn and Solange; his siblings, Robert (Rosaline), Denis (Connie), Annette (Edmond), Jeannine (Gerald), Daniel (Debbie) and Charles (Leanne); and his brothers-in-law, Brian (Shauna) and Gary (Dixie). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
