He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Christian and Johnny Mitchell; his stepfather Charlie Christian; his siblings, Pinky Mitchell, Priscella Ferguson, Priscilla Christian, Ronnie Mitchell, Bruce Mitchell, Jack Christian and Floyd Christian; and his stepchildren, Marilyn Poitras and Keith Poitras.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Poitras; his stepchildren, Hazel Peters (Mike) and Richard Poitras; his children, Boxer Christian, Skinny Christian, Wally Christian, Neil Christian (Candice) and Russel Christian; and his sisters, Colleen Chrsitian, Doris Christian and Barbara Christian. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, all grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-grandchildren and family and friends.
