He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley. He is survived by: his children, Randy Morton (Marie) of Victoria, Cindy Fretwell (John) of Victoria, Cathy Lutz of Red Deer and Russell Morton of Victoria. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials tributes may be made to Olds Hospital, Acute Care Unit.
