She was predeceased by: her brother Douglas Nixon; and her son-in-law Mike Taylor. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Taylor of Didsbury, Jeff McDiarmid of Airdrie and Brent McDiarmid (Cherilyn) of Kamloops, BC; her grandchildren, Ami (Cory), Samantha (Justin), Kassandra, Linzi, Tyra, Taryn, Aidan, Kylie and Reese; her great grandchildren, Syliss, Saylem, Rennick, Maximus and Haleigh; and her brother Barry Nixon (Jo-Anne) of Metcalf. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
