He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Stevens and Gladys Stevens; his children, Janice Stevens (Jak Meyer), Brandon Stevens (Tammy) and Rod Stevens (Kenda); his sister Fay Knight (Ray); his wife Margaret; his brother Dawson Stevens; his nephew Terry Knight; and his brothers-in-law, Hank, Jim, Bob, Ed and Murray. He was also cherished by many brother and sister in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #105 (5241 46 St, Olds, AB T4H1H5).
