She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Hamm; her grandsons, James and Scott Harder; her stepgranddaughter Dianne King; her husband David Harder; her father Henry Hamm; and her brother Henry Hamm (Elsie).

She is survived by: her son Dennis (Katie); her grandchildren, Sherry (Gerry), Donna (Scott), Leanne (Tyler), Wendy, Jason (Megan), Rachel, Matthew (Ashley), Jessi (Ray), Josh and Nic; and her children, Viola King, Wayne (Jill) and Keith (Kathy). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Mennonite Central Committee, Alberta.
