With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lyla Wood (Olds, Alberta), who passed away on July 31, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Williamson and Kathleen; her parents-in-law, Gladys, Ray and Nettie Wood (Gordon); her son Richard Leonard; her brothers, Nelson (Brandy) and Bob (Faye); her brother-in-law Don Leask; her sister Alta; her grandson Richard Daniel; and her son-in-law Terry Leinweber.
She is survived by: her children, Gordon Wood (June), Shelley Leinweber and Wanda Meyer (Dan); her grandchildren, Pat, Terrina, Christine, Jennifer, Jamie, Lindsey, Brian, Steve, Jordan, Alisha, Caleb and Erin; and her siblings, Corrine Leask and Denny (Audrey Williamson). She is also survived by 23 Great Grand children and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
