“Jim and I were first cousins who grew up together in Eastern Ontario. Life, family and careers separated us for about 15 years until my gypsy trail brought me to Alberta for 10 years. We rekindled our kinship in the 1990s and early 2000s and we thoroughly enjoyed our time together sharing common interests as middle-aged adults and reminiscing about our carefree youth. When I received the sad news of Jim's sudden passing, I felt a deep sense of loss as a big part of my early life is now gone.”
