She was predeceased by: her husband Ken Heck; her parents, Helen and Douglas Thompson; and her siblings, Lawrence, Philip and Allison.

She is survived by: her daughter Stacey Reschke (Corey); her grandchildren, Zury and Cassidy of Hudson's Hope, BC; her son Shane Heck (Nicki) of New Caney, Texas; and her siblings, Jan Rooke (Barry) of Calgary, AB and David Thompson (Jenifer) of DeWinton, AB. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SPCA or Alberta Cancer Foundation (Tom Baker Cancer Center).
