He was predeceased by: his parents, Janna Bierhorst and Arie Bierhorst; his wife Muriel Alice; and his brother Jan Geyssen (Victoria). He is survived by: his stepchildren, Brian Reynolds, David Reynolds (Amherst), Pam (Steve), Walker (Bridgetown) and Terry Reynolds (Greenwood); and his siblings, Rita Thompson (Brian) and Gerrit Geyssen (Victoria). He is also survived by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many great nieces and great nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #105 (5241 46 St, Olds, AB T4H1H5).
