He is survived by: his children, Debra Cherniwchan of Edmonton, Joanne Abbott (Emerson) of San Clemente, CA, Cameron Halahuric (Alyson) of Edmonton and Lynette Gau of St. Catherines, ON.; his grandchildren, Ashley Sternhagen (Leevi), Celena Affleck of Edmonton, Katelynn Schneringer (John) of Las Vegas, NV, Rachael Friesen (Alex) of Saskatoon, SA and Ryan Gau (Dorothy) of Edmonton; his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Clark, Carter, Blake, Iaasic and Layla; and his close friend Carolyn Heller.
