He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Karpyshyn and Jean Karpyshyn; his wife Elsie Wolokoff; his children, Kevin (Dorothy), Bonita (Jim) and Allan (Gail); his grandchildren, Tyler (Larissa), Ashlynn (Matthew), Stephanie (Adam), Matthew, Joseph and Jack; and his great grandchildren, Josephine and Carson.
