It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alma Stickel (Olds, Alberta), who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Julius Miller and Juliana Miller of Barrhead Alberta; her husband Oscar Stickel; her children, Garry Stickel (Gwen) of Cochrane and Donna Stonehocker (David) of Edmonton; her sister Hertha Hauch of Westlock, Alberta; and her sisters-in-law, Gladys Miller of Westlock Alberta and Esther Stickel of Calgary. She was also cherished by 3 grandsons and families, 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She then remained in Golden Hills Lodge until 2019 when, after a series of long protracted medical issues, she was finally transferred to Olds Long-term Care facility at the onset of COVID, where she remained until her passing.
