He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; his grandson Fletcher Kimmel; his siblings-in-law, Chris Barr, John Townley, Frank Hickey and Donna Hickey; his nephew John Townley; and his nieces, Brenda Simmonds and Donna Hickey.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Stewart (Wayne), Sandra Kimmel (Bob Tiegs), Anne Boswell (Rich), Graham Robertson (Joani), Mary Kate Robertson (Alvin Pawlitza) and Joan Coleman (Kris); his sisters, Peggy Jean Barr and Sheila Conn (Lloyd); his sister-in-law June Townley; his grandchildren, Katherine Stewart (Scott Fischer), Colin Stewart (Jennifer), David Stewart, Meghan Hoffman (Jim), Stuart Boswell, Mark Boswell, Raven Robertson, Cole Robertson, Julia Pawlitza, Alex Pawlitza, Georgia Pawlitza and Anthony Coleman; and his great grandchildren, MaKayla Hoffman, Callum, Jacqueline Stewart and James Fischer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
