Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sonny James MacDonald of Okotoks, Alberta, born in Fort Chipewyan, Alberta, who passed away at the age of 81, on April 20, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Germain MacDonald and Harriet MacDonald; and his siblings, Ted, Helen, Danny, Rita, Anita and Freddie.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Hudson MacDonald; and his children, Thomas James MacDonald (TJ) and Marcy Blayne DeMond. He is also survived by 3 children, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren (all sons), many cousins, nieces and nephews, in-laws. And many, many friends, and friends.
**Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of life will occur in future in Fort Smith (date has not yet been set).
In Lieu of flowers the family had asked that donations be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
