It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Madeline Catherine Plathan of Okotoks, Alberta, born in Red Deer, Alberta, who passed away on July 30, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Alexander Plathan; and her siblings, Mervin Doll, Mona Bertram, Dorothy Leavitt, Ben Doll and Mabel Rettschlag.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Plathan, Peggy Plathan and Jim Plathan (Laura); her grandchildren, Kyra Plathan and Ben Plathan; and her caregiver Madeline. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
