He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emile and Karoline; his wife Roxanne; his children, Anthony (Jessa), Desiree (Iain) and Andreas (Jessica); his brother Norbert (Laurie); and his grandchildren, Denholm, Strauss, Tenyson and Marc.

In lieu of flowers his family requests memorial donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
