It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Allen Tailby of Okotoks, Alberta, born in Edmonton, Alberta, who passed away on March 31, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Tailby and Irene Tailby; his brothers, Jim, Bill and Tom; his wife Maxine McDowell; his children, Wendy Sheck (Trevor), Shannon Moore (Paul) and Sheldon Tailby (Marcie); his grandchildren, Landon Sheck (Joanie), Brittany (Jaynon Upham), Sterling Sheck Ryan (Megan), Jordan (Jade), Dilan (Nicole), Jamie Moore (Leanna), Nicole and Matt Tailby; and his great grandchildren, Juneau, Eevie, Nova Upham, Helaina, Isla Sheck, Kayman, Brooks, Tenley, Von Moore, Alia, Gage, Ryker Moore, Hutch, Irelyn, Teddi Moore, Bentley, Steele and Riggs Moore. He was also cherished by the friends and family. And thoroughly enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
