He is survived by: his wife Camille Lillian Stewart; his sons, David (Alison), Stephen (Shannon) and Todd (Heather); his grandchildren, Tate, Paula, Foster, Monroe, Spencer, Liam, Sara Laycraft, Xavier Laycraft La Borde, Alex Cabelka and Aiden Norman La Borde; his son-in-law Anthony La Borde (Erin Norman); his sister Marlene Herriman; and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Laycraft and David Stewart.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Darryl's honor to the High River & District Health Care Foundation @ highriverhealthfoundation.ca.

“My condolences to all of Daryl’s family. Sadly it’s been many years since I’ve seen or had contact with most of you. Some of my best memories of my youth were working on the farm for uncle Daryl, he taught me to drive on “old tilty” and the grain truck. Rest in peace uncle Daryl. Kevin Laycraft and family.”
