We bid farewell to Gwendolyn Ressler of North Star, Alberta, born in New Norway, Alberta, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 10, 2024 at the age of 91. Gwendolyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Gwendolyn's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Gwendolyn has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Backstrom and Agnes Backstrom; and her siblings, Barbara Rechlo, Rodney Backstrom and Dwayne Backstrom.
She is survived by: her son Jim; her sister Shirley Rechlo; and her son Murray Simpson. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
