He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward George Goldsmith and Agnus Sorbie Goldsmith; and his brothers, Ernie Foss, Raymond Goldsmith and George Goldsmith (Jim).
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Goldsmith (Liz); his children, Brenda and Robert Goldsmith Jr. (Bob); his grandchildren, Erin, Trent, Kelton Bedson, Taylor and Lucas Goldsmith; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Goldsmith, Doreen Heck and Earl Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
