George Velie Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2023, at the age of 77, George Velie of Nampa, Alberta, born in Girouxville, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Jesse Cruickshank; his siblings, Anne Cloutier, Don Velie, Jim Velie and Mickey Velie; his wife Ethyl Velie; his children, Caroline Velie, Brad Velie (Karen) and Brenda Yaniuk (Woody); and his grandchildren, Kyle Yaniuk, Gabrielle Velie, Cole Yaniuk, Samuel Velie and Noah Velie.

Donations in memory of George can be given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
