He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Bykewich (Novak) and Nick Bykewich; and his brother Bernie Bykewich. He is survived by: his wife Annette (Lorrain); his children, Bradley (Stacy), Bruce (Dayna) and Bonnie; his sister Marlene Eastman (Lyle); his sister-in-law Diane; his aunts, Nettie Sawann and Lissette Bekewich; and his uncle Paul Novak (Cheryl). He is also survived by 4 nieces and 1 nephew, as well as numerous friends.
