He was predeceased by: his parent Vera Carlson; his father-in-law Nestor Tkachuk; and his brother-in-law Naseer. He is survived by: his wife Marie; his children, Krista (Lars) and Joel (Rhia); his sisters, Christina (Raghu) and Lorna; and his mother-in-law Mary Tkachuk. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
